Pastor Chuck Shacochis is a retired Associate Member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference and moved his charge conference to Ebenezer United Methodist Church on July 1, 2013. Prior to retirement, he served as associate pastor to Reverend Bud Brown at the Sykesville Parish of St. Paul’s and Gaither United Methodist Churches for 11 years. Before heeding his call to ministry he spent 34 years in federal service: 3 years in the U.S. Army and 31 years with the Social Security Administration. He attended the University of Maryland for undergraduate studies and Wesley Theological Seminary in the Course of Studies (COS) program for local pastors. He graduated from Wesley COS in 2011.
