REFLECTION FOR WORSHIP

       As we come together this morning, let us settle into stillness and center our hearts and minds in prayer. Enter into this time with the One who created us and loves us, the One whose Spirit lives in us this day and every day.

*CALL TO WORSHIP

       Let the redeemed of the Lord gather this day for worship!
       We were once condemned by our sins and now we know the mercy of God.
       God sent the prophets to call us back into God's will.
       And God is true and faithful to all who hear and obey the Holy Word.
       Let us proclaim the righteousness of the Lord for all the world to hear!
       Blessed be the name of the Lord!

       O Creator and Sustaining God, You called us to faithful obedience through the prophets and You sent us Your Son as a witness to Your love and grace. We praise Your Holy name, Lord as we worship you this day. In Christ we pray. Amen.

       In our Old Testament story the Lord teaches Jonah a lesson when the prophet is angry because God is merciful to the repentant pagan city which Jonah has denounced.

To Our Visitors

Welcome to Ebenezer United Methodist Church! We are so happy you are visiting today. It is our prayer that you will feel the warmth of our church family spirit,

and that you will experience God’s presence in a mighty way as you worship with us this morning.

We offer a nursery during worship for infants through kindergarten.  The nursery is located down the hall in our education wing. Our staff will certainly come

and get you if your child needs you. Please feel free to utilize this ministry of our church.

It would be helpful if you would sign the attendance roster on the end of the pew and complete a Welcome Card and place it in the offering plate. We would
