Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. SUMMER WORSHIP NOTES

A special thank you to Rev. Dave Highfield, Chris Gillis, Steve Bergmann and

Ken Middleton; for sharing their gifts of preaching and worship leadership while Rev. Judy is on vacation.

A MESSAGE FROM THE TRUSTEES

It would be very helpful if everyone could lend a hand and make sure everything is turned off and the doors are properly closed and locked behind you when you leave the

church building. Please do not assume others will take care of it.

Also, please take a moment to double check and turn off lights in rooms, hallways and restrooms. Shut off fans, air conditioners, and the sound system in the sanctuary after they have been used. Since many children use the restrooms on their own, please double check that water is not left running before you leave the building.

These are just a few simple requests that can save the church extra expenses and keep our building safe. Thank you!

SHEPHERD STAFF

We are collecting school supplies for Shepherd Staff. All school supplies are needed and also monetary donations are accepted for Shepherd Staff to purchase new shoes for the children. They also welcome gently used or new clothing to give out and new or used children’s books. Thank you for helping these children in need.

    FALL BRUNCH POSTPONED

Our brunch scheduled for Sunday, September 11th has been postponed until Sunday, October 30, 2011. This change was made due to a community event that will involve several of our church families. Please mark your calendars now for our October 30th brunch. On that Sunday we will not have Sunday school and we will only have one worship service at 10:00 AM. Rev. Rick Gray, former Pastor of Ebenezer UMC, has been invited to preach on that day. More details to follow.

FALL WORHSIP SCHEDULE

Due to the change in our brunch date, we will continue with one service at 10:00 AM through Labor Day weekend, September 4, 2011. On Sunday, September 11, 2011, we will return to our Fall Worship Schedule with worship at 8:30 AM, Sunday school at 9:45 AM and Worship at 11:00 AM. Please make note of these changes!
