Women of the Word is a group of Christian women who gather on the third Thursday of each month for prayer, fellowship and Christian conversation. This year we will celebrate our 21st Anniversary together during our annual Women’s Retreat, March 9th and 10th 2012. The theme of our 2012 retreat is “Soul Spa” Spiritual, Purposeful and Amusing ways to live the Christian Life.  Our soup, salad, bread and dessert fundraiser for the retreat will be on Sunday, February 26th after the 11:00 AM service.  Prices are $8.00 for Adults, $4.00 for ages 4 to 12 and free for age 3 and under.  At the end of each year we gather at a local restaurant for dinner. This year we will dine together on June 21, 2012. Please mark your calendars now and plan on joining us for an evening out.

Our regular monthly meetings are on the third Thursday of the month from January through May and then September through November. In December we go out to dinner once again. This year our Christmas dinner will be on December 20, 2012.

We gather to offer Christian support and fellowship to the women of the church and we gather to pray for one another and for others. We would love to have you join us when possible.
