Ebenezer Men

The Men of the church meet once a month on the third Saturday at 8:30 AM for breakfast and a short program. Breakfast is of course provided totally by the women of the church. All the men of the church are welcome and they are encouraged to bring friends and anyone else who might be interested in discussions about faith, life, home, work and in fellowship activities with other men of faith. This group helps out with some of the more strenuous activities for our Annual Church Holly Mart and other church functions. Most of these men also help during church cleanup days and repair work days.

Anticipated meeting dates for 2012 are: February 11th, March 17th, April 21st, May 19th and June 16th. During the months of July and August we generally do not meet. After our summer break we will meet again on September 15th and October 20th. We will not meet in November because of the Holly Mart but will gather one more time before the end of the year on  December 15th.

Again this year our Men’s Group’s Outreach project is providing food for the Carroll County Cold Weather Shelter once a month on Sunday evenings. Although there have been some men preparing food themselves, the women still help out and offer support. The Shelter is open from November through March each year. The 2012 dates for feeding at the Shelter are

February 19th and March 18th.
